Stephen Raymond Wilson OAM (born 28 December 1971) is an Australian Paralympic gold medal winning athlete. In 1986, whilst a student at Newington College (1984–1987),[1] he was hit by a truck and doctors were forced to amputate his right leg just below the knee.[2] He took up competitive running in 1997 and won two gold medals at the 2000 Sydney Paralympics.[3]

In 2000, his competitive sport participation was sponsored by the Motor Accidents Authority in New South Wales.[4]
